Harmony and Understanding: World Religions explores the beliefs, traditions, symbols and practices of five world religions - Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism.
One of education's essential tasks is to develop people's understanding of themselves and other through developing their understanding of the world. Students need to be equipped with the knowledge, skills and sensibilities to enable them to participate effectively as members of society and to contribute towards the development of shared values and a common national identity.
