Step Beyond Comprehension contains enough resource material and activities for one year of programming for the whole class in comprehension, writing, research skills, word knowledge and fluency. 

This textbook contains fifteen units of work. The arrangement of the text types and activities throughout the book has been chosen with a sense of logic and balance of variety. Any unit could be adopted as a stand-alone project, but maximum value is more likely to be gained if the book is used as a class text for a complete year.
